Tesla has recalled a total of 106 examples of the 2019 to 2021 Model 3 due to a potential issue with the vehicle’s suspension.

According to the recall notice published by the Department of Infrastructure, the fasteners connecting the lateral links to the sub-frame may loosen over time, causing the components to disconnect.

The issue could result in the wheels coming out of alignment, which may “adversely impact vehicle controllability and increase the risk of a collision,” the recall reads.

It's believed the issue is unrelated to another suspension recall issued in recent days for 20,000 Model Y vehicles in China.

Tesla Australia will contact affected owners, but the company can be contacted directly by calling 1800 646 952 or visiting a dealership, found here.
