- R52 Pathfinder recalled
- Hybrid system programming could lead to stalling
- 937 units affected
Nissan has recalled all R52 Pathfinder hybrids manufactured between 2014 and 2020, owing to a risk of the vehicle stalling.
Affecting 937 vehicles sold over the six-year time period, an issue has been found with the programming of its hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM), resulting in the engine potentially stalling.
Accompanied by a warning light on the dash, the loss of power could leave owners in dangerous situations, becoming a hazard to themselves and other road users.

Nissan is currently waiting to receive a software update, saying it will contact owners when it becomes available to resolve the problem free of charge.
