2019 BMW i3 gallery

One of the original premium electric vehicles, the BMW i3 has received another power boost giving it double the range of the original model that's now beyond the average weekly city commute.

Slated to arrive here in February, the i3 120Ah has a powerful 42kWh battery pack and replaces the current version that's powered by 94Ah/33kWh batteries.

According to BMW this increases the range to 260km, which will get you from Sydney to Orange, though it remains to be seen how it will perform in real world conditions when you factor in things like hills and using the air-conditioning.
