Holden’s new post local-manufacturing line-up has a new and significant member. Its Acadia large SUV is aimed squarely at seven-seat rivals which include perennial favourites like the Toyota Kluger and Mazda CX-9.

Holden has put the US-built Acadia through Aussie boot camp to smarten it up for local roads, tweaking everything from the suspension to the satellite navigation.
