Jaguar Land Rover Australia is recalling three of its models due to a faulty fuel injector return pipe
The British carmaker has issued a notice for 100 examples of the Land Rover Discovery Sport, and Range Rover Evoque and Velar, all made in 2020 and 2021 with the 2.0-litre diesel engine.
According to the Department of Infrastructure, the fuel injector return pipe may not meet manufacturing specifications and may split, allowing fuel to leak into the engine bay and onto the road – increasing the risk of an accident.
A list of VINs for affected vehicles is available here.
Owners will be contacted by Jaguar Land Rover to arrange with their nearest authorised dealer to have the work carried out as soon as possible, free of charge.
