Hyundai updates iMax and iLoad for 2016 with new tech features

Hyundai's iMax and iLoad vans pick up new technology, added safety and cosmetic updates for 2016.

Hyundai’s iMax people-mover and iLoad van have received a welcome Series II update, bringing with it new tech and revised styling.

A 7-inch touchscreen display and reversing camera are now standard in all variants of iMax and iLoad. The updated infotainment system adds Siri Eyes Free (for iPhone) and Google New (for Android) hands-free voice activation services.

Series II also brings additional airbags to the cabin of iMax and iLoad, plus standard cruise control for diesel automatic vehicles.

Updated iMax and iLoad vehicles are outwardly recognisable thanks to styling changes including new-look front grilles, bumpers and tailgate garnish. iMax Series II now features standard foglights and 16-inch alloy wheels.

iMax and iLoad Series II carry over Hyundai’s 2.4-litre petrol and 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engines. The 2.4-litre petrol engine produces 127kW and 224Nm. The 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engine has an output of 100kW and 343Nm.
