Mercedes-Benz has revealed a new special edition C-Class sedan, dubbed the ‘Edition C’.
The new package adds a suite of luxury items to the entry-level C200, as the popular model enters its run-out phase ahead of a significant upgrade.
To sweeten the deal , C200 sedans ordered between April 1 and May 31 can be specced with the Edition C package for a drive-away price of $60,900, which is $1000 less than the usual recommended retail price.
As well as plenty of spare change, the package brings a glass electric sunroof, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone mirroring, metallic paint (excluding ‘designo’) and 19-inch alloy wheels over the standard specification.
The C-Class C200 is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine making 135kW and 300Nm, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Standard equipment includes a seven-inch colour display with touchpad control and media interface, satellite navigation, digital radio, electric front seats, keyless start, dual-zone climate control, black piano lacquer and brushed aluminium trim, rain-sensing wipers and LED headlights.
