Don’t tell anyone, but the Street Machine crew have a soft spot for the humble Mazda. We love the giant-killing attitude and simplicity of rotary engine and the cars themselves have been a favourite for engine swaps over the last 40 years.

We’ve featured a stack of them over the years, including John Saad’s Street Machine Summernats Grand Champion-winning RX3 and our own Barra-swapped MX-5.
