Australia's premier event for sports cars and supercars is heading to The Bend Motorsport Park.
For the uninitiated, that event is Performance Car of the Year, or PCOTY as we call it to save time. Each year we take as many of the best performers from the year, from supercars to hot hatches, and fling them around a racetrack and take them for a drive to test them in the real world.

Normally, MOTOR heads north from Melbourne to Winton Raceway and have our race driver (normally Warren Luff) cut laps to determine which car is the best for petrolheads like us – and hopefully you.
This year, MOTOR is headed west to the biggest new addition to Australia's motorsport scene, The Bend Motorsport Park.
It won't be the first time MOTOR has graced The Bend with its presence- earlier this year we set the lap record on the GT Circuit with a Porsche 911 GT2 RS. With Warren Luff, of course.
Since, several launches and drive days have been held there, giving us opportunities to go back, but PCOTY will provide a chance to really get to know The Bend.
The track has only been operating since the beginning of the year, but it's already shaken up motorsport in the country, with aims to go further. It's secured a place on the Supercars calendar, and rumors even suggest it has its sights on the WEC.
Stay tuned for more updates for PCOTY 2019 including a rundown of the cars, the judges, and eventually the results.
You can also follow MOTOR on Instagram to get a behind the scenes peek at what goes on during PCOTY testing.
