Ford Mustang GT vs Holden SS V Redline drag race

When we were offered the exclusive chance to be the first outlet in Australia to run performance numbers on the new Ford Mustang, we obviously jumped at it.

But to go one better, we lined up Holden's SS V Redline for a good old fashioned quarter mile drag race, to see if Ford's vaunted new Pony Car can go toe-to-toe with the General's hottest local offering.

David Roscio from Adelaide-based outfit StreetFighter very kindly donated his left-hand drive US-spec Ford Mustang GT V8 to the cause and allowed us to thrash it up and down the Heathcote strip for an afternoon.
