Peugeot Australia is recalling its 2019 Boxer van over a steering fault.
Just three examples are affected by the recall, across all variants of the vehicle.
According to the Department for Infrastructure, the steering pivot joint bolts may not meet manufacturing specifications and may become loose.
If this happens, the steering may deviate from the driver’s desired trajectory and could increase the risk of collision, resulting in injury or death of vehicle occupants and other road users.
The three vehicles affected have the following VINs:
VF3YL3MFB12L55074
VF3YL3MFC12L72392
VF3YL3MFC12L75983
Peugeot is advising owners to contact their preferred authorised dealer to have the work carried out as soon as possible, free of charge.
