Alfa Romeo is recalling more than 500 examples of its Giulia and Stelvio models in Australia due to an issue with Adaptive Light System sensors.
The problem affects 558 cars made between 2020 and 2022.
According to the Department for Infrastructure, which issued the recall notice, due to a manufacturing fault, the automatic Adaptive Light System (AFS) sensors may not adjust as intended when there is a change in load or load distribution on the vehicle.

As a result, if the vehicle headlights do not operate as intended it could increase the risk of an accident.
A list of VINs for the affected cars is available here.
Owners are advised to contact their local authorised Alfa Romeo dealer to recalibrate the automatic headlight position sensors and align the headlights, free of charge.
Alternatively, Alfa Romeo can be contacted on 1800 870 724 or auscustomercare@fcagroup.com
