Engine, transmission and fuel economy
Engine options across the CR-V range are primarily comprised of the turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, producing 140kW/240Nm, claiming a fuel economy of 7.4-litres per 100km. It's fitted to all CR-V variants except for the base $35,600 CR-V Vi.
The base Vi comes equipped with a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated inline-four petrol producing 113kW/189Nm. Without the aid of turbocharging, combined fuel usage increases slightly to a claimed 7.6L/100km.
All CR-Vs across the range are fitted as standard with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
Availability
Both of the new CR-V special editions have been added to Honda Australia’s online configurator, with pre-orders now open at centres around the country.
Vehicles are expected to arrive in showrooms within the coming weeks.
