The segment-leading Mazda CX-3 is set to gain a minor update heading into 2022, with the small SUV gaining a new exterior look towards the end of this year.
A ninth paint option will be added to the range with platinum quartz metallic available to be optioned on any trim level of the CX-3, the light champagne gold colour having already been made available on other models.
On top of this, the range-topping Touring, Akari and Akari LE variants are set to all feature gloss black lower body trim, setting them apart from the rest of the line-up which retain the flat black cladding.
Mazda last provided the CX-3 with a minor update earlier this year – introducing Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for the first time, as well as redesigned seats across the range, while individual variants scored extra equipment.
The CX-3 is the current segment leader for small SUVs, accounting for 28.8 per cent of all sales in the category so far this year through selling 10,679 units to the end of August – nearly double the number of the second-placed Toyota Yaris Cross on 5406.
Prices for the CX-3 range are unchanged.
