The Australian arm of Peugeot has handed down a variety of price increases for its 2022 range, impacting all seven models for sale.
Pinning the jump on an increase in production costs, the higher premiums range from between four to five per cent above the previous prices before on-roads, while a handful of incoming plug-in hybrids push up the manufacturer's average price even higher.
Having announced today it would drop the 5008 GT Petrol in favour of the new GT Sport – at a $9000 premium – Peugeot also announced the GT Sport variants of its 2008 and 3008 will now come with a panoramic opening glass sunroof as a standard feature.
