- 2023 Honda ZR-V: Full Australian details
- Mid-size SUV arrives mid-year with petrol or hybrid; four grades
- Priced from $40,200 before on-roads
Honda Australia has announced customer orders for the ZR-V have commenced, with the mid-size SUV priced between $40,200 and $54,900 drive-away.
As announced, it will be available in three petrol grades – VTi X, VTi L and VTi LX – and a range-topping e:HEV LX hybrid. All are front-wheel drive and paired to a continuously variable automatic transmission.
With the forthcoming all-new Honda CR-V growing in size to rival the Mitsubishi Outlander and Mazda CX-8, the ZR-V will essentially replace the outgoing CR-V as Honda’s direct competitor for the Mazda CX-5 and Toyota RAV4.
Honda Connect connected-car functionality will be complimentary for five years, mirroring the likes of Kia and Hyundai – while others such as Toyota stick with shorter trials.
