Frankfurt Motor Show 2013: VW unveils show-stoppers early

First in, first served, right? Just ask Volkswagen.

The 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show mightn’t open until tomorrow, but VW got the jump on its rivals this morning by revealing its group’s show-stopping displays 24 hours early.

As has become customary for the world’s largest car brand, the VW Group invited select journalists to a special pre-event showing in Frankfurt to reveal its new products.

Highlights included the world premier of the new Audi Sport Quattro concept and the unveiling of the production-ready Porsche 918 Spyder.
