Ferrari F430 test drive close shave

The world was very nearly minus one Ferrari F430 thanks to this young Italian gentleman, who decided it was a good idea to drive at warp factor nine on narrow country roads.

The video above tells the story, but all we can say is that this guy doesn't need a Ferrari parked in his driveway to know he's an extremely lucky individual.

His no doubt petrified passenger might have thought his accident avoidance skills were "Perfecto", but we doubt the people in the Mercedes-Benz R-Class coming the other way were quite so complimentary.

Driving fast is awesome, but there's a time and a place kids!
