While we’ve known about Ford’s GT race car for some time, we’ve had little clue how it would sound, or look, when handling the circuit.

In the last couple of days, however, various videos have popped up of the car being hustled during shakedown.

As far as sound goes, the above spy video of the car testing in Ottawa, Canada, reveals a lot about its Roush Yates developed 3.5-litre V6 that's fed by two turbochargers.

Meanwhile, Ford Performance has also released a much better quality film of the car during testing, which gives us a chance to glimpse Ford’s GT race car’s chassis in much more detail. You can see that below.

Expect to see the GT debut at the 24 hours of Daytona in January 2016.
