McLaren has released a fresh set of images of its up-coming P1 hypercar to coincide with the opening of its new McLaren Manama (Bahrain) showroom, and the lead up to this Sunday’s Bahrain Grand Prix.
The ultra-high-tech P1 paid an exclusive visit to the Bahrain International Circuit during its Middle East regional debut in Bahrain.
The all carbonfibre two-seater is powered by a twin-turbo V8, supplemented by hybrid electric power, for a total output of 674kW/900Nm. It is claimed to accelerate from 0-100km/h in less than three seconds.
Just 375 examples of the P1 will be produced, and McLaren claims interest in the Middle East is already outstripping supply.
