HOT STUFF: Dine with two legends

Two greats of Australian motor sport, Kevin Bartlett and John Goss, paired up back in 1974 to take the win in a rather soggy Hardie-Ferodo 1000 in an XA Ford Falcon.

Now they will be together again at Bathurst as specials guests at the National Motor Racing Museum Legends' Dinner on Thursday October 8.

Bartlett, a dual Gold Star winner, made his Bathurst debut in 1958 in a Morris Minor.

Goss remains the only driver to win the Bathurst enduro (which he did twice, in 1974 and again in 1985) and the Australian Grand Prix. If you try really hard, you may even get Gossy to talk about it...

Their illustrious careers will be revisited at the Legends' Dinner, to be held at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre from 6.30pm on the 8th, three days before the 2009 Bathurst 1000.
