Raikkonen turns to rally

Raikkonen at the Arctic Rally in Finland this January.

Ferrari Formula 1 driver Kimi Raikkonen is making good use of the Grand Prix summer holidays, making his WRC debut this month in one of the toughest events on the rally calendar - Finland.

The 2007 F1 champ will enter his home town round with Finnish co-driver Kaj Lindstrom, who has directed the likes of Tommi Makinen, in a Fiat Punto Abarth S2000.

Raikkonen has actually appeared in three other rallies this year, but this will be his first big test on gravel.
