What are the defects?
A manufacturing defect in the wiring harness of the rear boot lid may cause intermittent operation of the rear-view camera, loss of satellite radio reception, inoperative luggage compartment lamp and/or inoperable luggage compartment release.
What are the hazards?
If the rear-view camera display does not continually display the rear-view image whilst reversing the vehicle, it could increase the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to any persons located behind the vehicle.
What should consumers do?
Ford will contact affected owners in writing requesting they make an appointment at their preferred Ford Authorised Dealership for inspection and repair of the luggage compartment lid wiring harness, free of charge.

What are the defects?
Due to a manufacturing issue, the engine may fail prematurely. If this occurs, engine oil and/or fuel vapor could be released into the engine bay and accumulate in the presence of ignition source resulting in a vehicle fire.
What are the hazards?
A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders, and/or damage to property.
What should consumers do?
Note: If the vehicle's engine exhibits an unusual noise, experiences a reduction in available engine power, generates smoke from engine compartment and/or oil smoke odour is identified when driving, drivers should stop the vehicle where is safe to do so, turn off the ignition, evacuate the vehicle as soon as possible.
When parts become available, Ford will contact affected owners in writing requesting they make an appointment at their preferred Ford Authorised Dealership for the repair, free of charge.

Due to a manufacturing defect, the DC-DC converter that supports charging the 12V battery may short circuit and overheat resulting in a vehicle fire.

What are the defects?
Due to a manufacturing defect, the oil supply to the rear axle drive shaft bearing may not meet specification. As a result, the bearing may overheat and seize causing a loss of motive power whilst driving and/or an oil leak from the rear axle.
