Toyota's long-awaited new sports car comes one step closer to a production reality, with the unveiling of the FT-86 II Concept at the Geneva Motor Show.
Announced in January as a 'pre-production' concept, the FT-86 II follows 2009's FT-86 Concept as a preview of what's to come in Toyota's return to the real-wheel-drive sports coupe platform.
Toyota says the engine and driving position of the FT-86 II Concept have been set "as low and as far back as possible," with a focus on balance and stability.
That, for now, is all the world number one car manufacturer has officially let on - but with production expected to start later this year, all will be revealed soon enough.
