  • New bodykit rendering released by WALD in Japan for the LC300
  • Features new front bumper, side skirts, flares and wheels

Japanese group WALD International has recently released renderings of its vision of a new bodykit for the incoming Toyota LandCruiser 300 – which is set to be available in Australia by the end of the year.

WALD specialises in offering aftermarket bodykits for new cars, stretching from the super luxury S-Class Mercedes right down to the current Model Suzuki Jimny and Toyota RAV4.

At this stage, all WALD has released is images of the front and side of the kit of the LC300, with no rear shots at the time of writing.

Obvious changes include a new (and much lower) front bumper and splitter, as well as a new front grille. The factory side-steps have been replaced with low-slung side skirts and there’s a new set of beefy, colour-matched flares sitting on top of massive alloy wheels with paper-thin tyres.

WALD currently offers a full kit for the out-going 200 series LandCruiser, which features the same changes flagged for the LC300 kit – along with a twin side exit exhaust in front of the rear wheels and an upgraded set of brakes.

The kit may seem like a pointless way to spend a small fortune on an already expensive 300 series ‘Cruiser, but with the popularity of big, luxury, high-riding wagons of this size skyrocketing in recent years (think Porsche Cayenne, Range Rover), it’s not too surprising there is a market for kits like these.

4×4 Australia recently reported the LC300 may be in Australia as early as October this year, after a Sydney dealer claimed they would have stock by then.
