Wheels Car of the Year 2019 is coming to your TV

Wheels Car of the Year 2019 is coming to a lounge room near you as part of WhichCar TV for the next two weekends.

COTY is our biggest event of the year, and for 2019 we dragged along a video team to capture all the action, and give viewers a look at how we decide which car wins the longest-running motoring award in the world.

While COTY could take up an entire episode on its own, we’ve split the action across two weeks.

Part one of the COTY process will air this Sunday, January 27, at 4pm on Channel 10 during episode three of WhichCar TV.

You’ll be able to go behind the scenes to the first three days of the judging process in the centre of the Ford’s You Yangs proving ground.

During this process the COTY judges put all 47 cars to the test in a series of gruelling tests, before convening for voting to cull the field to just five finalists.

Then, next week, on Sunday, February 3, at 4pm on Channel 10, part two will air.

In part two, the five finalists will be assessed on the road, with judges giving their uncensored opinion on what makes these the best cars of the year.
