Vehicle | Nissan Pathfinder Ti AWD |

Tyre Brand & Model | Kumho Crugen |
Tyre Size | 255/60 R18 108H |
Location | Healesville, Victoria |
Conditions | Dry bitumen, urban environment and winding roads |
Wheels tested the Kumho Crugen in the urban environment around Healesville in country Victoria, fitted to a 2023 Nissan Pathfinder as standard equipment.
The Kumho was satisfactorily quiet and comfortable around town, and delivered impressive grip for an SUV tyre during extreme dynamic testing on a winding road.
That was no doubt in part to its wide, 255mm fitment on the big Nissan – often a size reserved for sports cars.
Fitted to the massive Pathfinder, Wheels found the Kumho Crugen to squeal noticeably loudly during hard cornering, but buyers should have little reason to push their family SUV so hard.
For daily driving, family-hauling purposes, the Kumho Crugen ticks the right boxes.

In this particular test, we didn't get to test the Kumho Crugen in wet conditions, off-road or unsealed conditions, or assess highway road noise. Watch for more on those aspects to come in the near future.
