WHAT a week! The best kept secret in Aussie drag racing, the VPW Drag Challenge, has been run and won, with 18 hardy competitors cruising their cars over a 1000km road course and racing them at tracks along the way. There was plenty of mechanical mayhem, great racing and amazing camaraderie

THE inaugural VPW Drag Challenge is underway. In the spirit of Hot Rod Drag Week, competitors are travelling between four tracks under their own power and with no support vehicles. The event kicked off at Sydney Dragway on Wednesday, followed by a Street Outlaws-style shootout at the Motorsports Training Australia facility in Albury-Wodonga.
