Friday Fancy: Hyundai's Sonata gets the full N treatment
Our mate Theottle, a Photoshop wizard and a man with performance on the mind, has produced a digital take on the sedan we deserve.
This is, or should be, Hyundai's new Sonata N hero sedan. The facelifted midsizer was unveiled in regular and sporty N-Line forms back in March, but as before, there's no properly heroic N model planned.
Hit the video button at the top of this story to see Theo turn the Sonata into an N flagship.
That's okay, from a business perspective, since nobody buys sedans anymore. Except for the i30 Sedan N, that is.
But not enough people around the world bought the Kia Stinger (despite some record sales in Oz), and if a muscly RWD sedan can't rake in the dollars, Hyundai probably figures there's no point to investing in a Sonata N.
And, really, the Sonata N-Line is plenty of fun in its own right.
But... we want a loud one, a faster one, a tighter one. We want a Sonata N.
