Ahead of a forthcoming 2023 Hyundai Venue mid-life facelift, a new variant of the small SUV has been revealed for the Indian market.
The new-to-the-range Hyundai Venue N-Line will sit atop the lineup with sporty design elements, variant-specific suspension tune and plenty of extra kit.
The Venue N-Line will remain an overseas model, however, with a spokesperson for Hyundai Australia stating that there are no plans to introduce a Venue N-Line to the local market.
The new Venue N-Line retains its rugged, high-riding stance, but dials up the dynamism with redesigned bumpers with aluminium-look skid plates, a larger rear spoiler and N Division’s signature red accents. At the rear, four exhaust outlets deliver a sportier note.
Under the bonnet, the Venue N-Line will be exclusively powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 88kW/172Nm, spinning its front wheels by way of a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
N-Line-specific suspension and steering tunes, plus four-corner disc brakes, elevate the small SUV’s roadholding abilities.
Inside, there are lashings of red piping and stitching with N branding appearing on the seats, doors, dashboard and gearknob. Aluminium pedals and paddle-shifters feature, alongside an 8.0-inch infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, Bose sound system and a sunroof.
As a sign of the times, more about the new Hyundai Venue N-Line will be revealed during a digital debut taking place on Metaverse, September 6.
