After a new Mazda, but not sure how long you'll have to wait?
Issues such as semiconductor chip shortages, shipping problems and sickness and isolation have affected the ability of manufacturers like Mazda to keep their production lines going over the last three years.
As such, all of the Japanese brand's models are experiencing some delays at present, with some better than others.
Overall, the average wait time for a Mazda, according to Price My Car, is now 73 days – compared to 74 days in January 2022.
It states the quickest to get hold of are the Mazda 2 hatch and the Mazda 6 sedan/wagon at 30 days and 24 days respectively.
Wait times for the CX-3, CX-30, CX-5 and CX-8 SUVs are also all under two months.
The worst affected are the brand's BT-50 ute, CX-9 large SUV and MX-5 sports car.

However, Mazda's own information is at odds with the Price My Car figures, with the company telling us "stock levels have improved considerably, and are back to pre-COVID levels of availability across almost the entire Mazda range".
With all of the above in mind, it is important to consider this article a guide only.
