The Mazda CX-30 is the 2021 Wheels Car of the Year
About the Mazda CX-30
The Mazda CX-30 is a stylish small SUV that is based on the 3 small car and offers a plush cabin and excellent driving dynamics.
It won the coveted Wheels Car of the Year award in 2021.
The CX-30 range is extensive and buyers have the choice of three different four-cylinder petrol engines and the option of front- or all-wheel drive.
Most of the broad Australian line-up is powered by two engines: either a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol, or a larger-capacity, and more powerful, 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol.
Another 2.0-litre petrol engine is also available in the flagship X20 Astina trim level and it uses Mazda’s innovative ‘compression ignition’ technology to save fuel.
Every variant comes with a six-speed automatic as standard except for the entry-level G20 Pure that can be ordered with a six-speed manual.
Every CX-30 is covered by Mazda's five-year/unlimited km warranty and service intervals are every 12 months or 10,000km.
Other notable models in the CX-30 segment include the Kia Seltos, Nissan Qashqai, Peugeot 2008, Subaru XV, and Volkswagen T-Roc.
