The Forester has remained a mainstay for Subaru for decades, trading on its impressions of durable reliability, a heavy focus on safety and all-wheel drive, all-terrain versatility for more than 25 years.

Subaru Australia's Managing Director, Blair Read, said: "Subaru Forester continues to be a popular choice for drivers looking for a versatile vehicle, with its legendary Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, advanced safety features, and spacious interior. The Subaru Forester has become an iconic vehicle in the Australian market, and the 300,000 units sold cements its position as one of the country's favourite SUVs".

Cumulative sales throughout 2022 saw the Subaru Forester peg 10,637 new national registrations, while suffering limited supply, finishing the calendar year in seventh place within the medium SUV (<$60k) segment.
